Chatbot: A new chatbot has been implemented on the cheel.ch website, allowing you to ask questions in natural language, in all available languages. Its knowledge is based on Cheel’s online documentation (help.cheel.ch).
Accounting
Import: When importing data, total accounts from the chart of accounts were treated as posting accounts. They are now ignored.
E-banking
BIC / SWIFT: The bank’s BIC / SWIFT is now automatically assigned to the bank account when adding a new account.
BCV: Following a technical change, BCV login no longer worked when downloading camt.053 files. This has been fixed.
Payroll
Employer Cost Posting: A new option now allows employer cost accounting entries to be posted.
Custom Bases: A new item in the main menu provides access to custom bases.
Payroll Statement: If several entries or exits occurred during the same payroll period (for example, within the same month), these dates are now displayed on the payroll statement to clarify the calculation of salary items based on the number of days worked.
Payroll Items: In certain circumstances, the validity date of a payroll item was not correctly taken into account. This has been fixed.
Payroll Items: When editing a payroll item, information relating to insurance policies that are not concerned is now hidden.
Employee List: The Canton and Country column did not display the country. This has been fixed.

Customer Portal: You can now enable two-factor authentication (2FA) to maximize the security of access to Cheel using an authentication app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.). To enable 2FA in the Customer Portal, activate the 2FA option for your Cheel user.
Share: Previews of all reports are now integrated directly into the application's main window, with a toolbar providing options to print, export, send, etc.
Scaling: When Windows display scaling was set to 200%, some text was truncated in the installation wizard and in certain windows. This has been fixed.
Financial Years: After deleting a financial year, the corresponding shortcut in the ribbon was not removed. This has been fixed.
Accounting
Chart of Accounts: A new option allows you to display an Account Statement (General Ledger).
Chart of Accounts: A new option allows you to display the list of entries posted to the account.
VAT Return: A rounding difference of CHF 0.05 could occur between the VAT return form and the printed return. This has been fixed.
Addresses
Company: The c/o line is now displayed on the address business card.
Person: In the Payment Methods tab, the IBAN is now disabled for types other than "Bank".
Payroll
Employees: You can now duplicate an employee. When duplicating an employee, the corresponding Person is also duplicated.
Employees: You can now define a salary scale in the employees' Work Reports.
Employees: When searching for a Swissdec insurance, all insurance funds of this type are now displayed without having to enter the fund's name.
Employees: The employee's name is now displayed in the titles of the configuration pages.
Payroll Calculation: A new option has been added to calculate or recalculate all payrolls for a period.
Editing an Already Paid Salary: You can now pay the difference if the amount payable has increased.
Salary Payment Status: A new Overpaid status has been added.
Payroll Calculation Details: Additional text can now be entered on each payroll item line.
Payroll Calculation Details: A footer message can now be inserted for each employee.
Payroll Items: A salary basis can no longer be selected if it is already used in the calculation of that payroll item.
Coordinated Occupational Pension (BVG/LPP): In certain cases, the calculation of the minimum coordinated pension amount did not take the minimum into account. This has been fixed.
Posting Group: You can now assign a Posting Group to each employee in order to manage different Gross Salaryand Salary Payable accounts for specific employees. A new Posting Group menu option has been added under Personal Data.
